DAY 1
VIENTIANE
Depart from Thatluang D’or Boutique Hotel in Vientiane at 8:30 am for a comfortable coach transfer to the Bohēme vessel. Board in the afternoon and enjoy a welcome briefing with drinks, followed by a delightful lunch onboard. As we cruise, relax with cocktails and snacks while admiring the lush jungle views of Pak Lay. We will moor overnight at Pha Liep village, where you can explore the impressive limestone cliffs and cave.
DAY 2
CRUISING TO THE UPPER MEKONG
Sail upstream on the Mekong, gliding past lush jungle scenery and picturesque riverside villages. Pause for a scenic walk through Pha Liep village, where you can soak in the local charm and atmosphere. In the evening, enjoy the refreshing river breeze as we moor at Ban Kok Fark and savour themed dinner on the riverbank.
DAY 3
XAYABOURY DAM
Begin your day with an invigorating morning walk in Ban Kok Fark, followed by a passage through the Xayaboury Dam. Indulge in enriching onboard experiences, such as a Laotian cooking class and an expert-led cocktail class, as we make our way to the serene mooring area at Talan Village.
DAY 4
XAYABOURY ELEPHANT CONSERVATION CENTER
Known as “The Land of a Million Elephants,” Laos takes great pride in its majestic elephants. Today, we’ll visit the Xayaboury Elephant Conservation Center, an authentic sanctuary committed to protecting these magnificent creatures. The center also supports sustainable livelihoods for mahouts who previously trained elephants. Witness firsthand how mahouts, veterinarians, and dedicated staff provide thoughtful care to the elephants in this lush conservation setting.
DAY 5
KUANG SI WATERFALLS
In the morning, we’ll moor at Muang Khay village to explore the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall, followed by a gourmet barbeque inspired lunch by Tad Keo waterfalls. Watch a spectacle of Traditional Lao Dance Performance on board while enjoying the cocktails, followed by gourmet themed farewell dinner.
DAY 6
LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast, we will visit Ban Xang Khong, known for its traditional Saa Paper. Experience making saa paper with natural materials and enjoy a tasting of authentic tea from Phongsaly, a northern Laos area. Disembark at 12:00 pm in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang, followed by a group transfer to your hotel, the airport, or the train station.
